This apartment is located in manhattan, usa, designed by designer jamie bush and has a total area of 218m2 .
The living room is very colorful, with a velvet sofa in red and blue, and the colors collide perfectly. Making this space very stylish are the rectangular floor lamps and the round coffee table. They are both simple geometric shapes, but they create a clear contrast. The design of the floor-to-ceiling windows not only ensures light in the living room, but also opens up the view.
The living room is furnished with antique furniture, mostly originating from the years 1950 – 1970. The modern and vintage furniture blends perfectly without a hint of dissonance. The red display cabinet against the wall is from the 1950s. The walnut wood used as the material of origin contrasts strongly with the metal side tables. The stained glass serves not only as decoration, but also as a partition. The combination of blue and red colors echoes the color palette of the living room. The decorations in one corner of the living room are modern and the walls are divided into two shades of pink and white. This design technique not only mitigates the height difference between the ceilings in the room, but also provides a higher sense of space and a degree of comfort.
The dining room is adjacent to the living room and is surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows throughout, providing great light and views. The round dining table with purple velvet seats is exquisite with a hint of nobility. The metal floor lamp on the side is full of design. The cabinetry is made of light-colored wood, which complements the dark wood high chairs. The light-colored marble bar is both beautiful and functional.
The walls of the children’s room are wave-like, and the steps of the bunk bed have been designed with drawers for additional storage space. The single chair is very well wrapped, so you won’t feel tired even if you read a long book. The room is bursting with comfort and large animal dolls that make the room child-friendly. In one corner of the room, there is a simple desk table and bookshelf, with a round desk to help prevent children from bumping and hurting themselves.
The walls of the master bedroom are decorated in grey, with wall lights shining on the bedside table and bedside table respectively. The double bed is facing the floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can have a panoramic view of the scenery from the bed. The window seat has a recliner and a side table. The metal floor lamp behind the recliner has a strong sense of line. The other room has walls in a pale blue with a yellow fabric, a color difference that brings the room to life. This room also has a work desk with red shelves, which stands out in this blue room.
The bathroom is predominantly grey in tone and is wrapped in a grey marble bathtub. Equipped with a triangular side table, it is elegant in its simplicity. The chandelier made of various irregular shapes assembled together adds interest to the bathroom.
